Trust in Me  (Brit Pop)   https://aimusicgen.ai/share/b021132b-76d0-4d15-b6d4-86dba45cf49e Lyrics TRUST IN ME Verse 1 I have seen you watch me, dear, When my words have lost their way, And the boy you knew last summer, Is a man who’s led astray. There’s a shadow on my colour, That I cannot hide from view, But your eyes still hold a kindness, That I never thought I knew. Chorus Oh, trust in me, As I will trust in you, When the world is unkind, And the skies are not blue. Lay your hand in mine, Let our hearts be true, Darling, say you’ll stay, And I’ll trust in you. Verse 2 You have heard the whispers, love, Round the town about my name, That I left a trail of sorrows, That I played a young man’s game. But I swear on all that’s honest, I have changed my foolish ways, For a moment with you, darling, Is worth all my yesterdays. [Chorus - with strings swelling] Oh, trust in me, As I will trust in you, When the night comes calling, I’ll see you through. Lay your hand in mine, L...
https://aimusicgen.ai/share/ad29949d-c2d7-4c22-b86e-5f3a3602dd85  Bring me Solutions  Traditional Folk, male and female harmonies, Triumph, 80-120 BPM Lyrics Think Like an Owner Don't bring me just a problem, Don't leave it at my door, Tell me what you think we need, And what we're looking for. For those who stand upon the front, Who see the business clear, Know more about the daily fight Than those who sit and hear. They see the things we sometimes miss, The cracks beneath the paint, The customer's frustration, The process that just ain't. They know where time is wasted, They know where money goes, They see the opportunities That management may miss or close. So listen to the people Who are closest to the task, Give them trust and give them voice, And give them what they ask. Not simply to identify The things that aren't quite right, But give them room to find the way And turn wrong into right. For leadership is not about Being the one who knows. It's know...
Requiem for Rhodesia    (Intro) A silent vigil of dreams fulfilled, then destroyed by a greed and corruption pill. Ode to Rhodesia with silent core, we need to be heard, all the more. (Verse 1) The twilight falls across the plain, The scent of woods moke and the rain. A leather saddle, worn and old, A quiet tale that must be told. The stars emerge above the crest, Where weary riders stop to rest. (Chorus) And the veld remembers every name, The flickering of an old flame. Carry the memory, hold the line, Through the passage of changing time. (Verse 2) The red earth holds the track we made, Beneath the msasa's quiet shade. The heavy air, the steady stride, With the old companions by our side. We count the cost of what we keep, While shadows in the valley sleep. (Chorus) And the veld remembers every name, The flickering of an old flame. Carry the memory, hold the line, Through the passage of changing time. (Verse 3) A single spark against the night, To ke...

1964-1979 - Stronger than the Pound: Rhodesian pound pegged to sterling, when sterling devalued US$2.8 to US$2.4 in 1967 Rhodesia switched peg to £1 Rhodesian = US$2.8 retaining stronger valuation. 17 February 1970: £1 Rhodesian = $2 Rhodesian so $1 Rhodesian = US$1.40. The dollar proved to be a strong currency at parity with the pound sterling right up to the very end of Rhodesia in 1980 when it was replaced by the Zimbabwean dollar at par. Eyewitness corroboration: rate 2.5 to 1 Rhodesian Pound against British Pound in 1957, and at independence local dollar worth 2 to 1 against US dollar with real purchasing power. Why: balanced budgets, no monetisation, tobacco/gold/chrome/beef earning US$, limited money supply growth 5-7% in line with GDP, exchange controls preventing flight. Savings retained value. Panel B 1980-2023 - Devastation: 1980: Z$1 = US$1.50 strongest in Africa. Triggers: 1997 war veterans Z$4.2bn unbudgeted, 1998-2002 DRC war US$1m per day, 2000 land invasions remo...
